Tapio recently sailed in the 2022 Golden Globe Race, as he did
in 2018. He was doing well in the race until his boat sank in
the
Southern Ocean after rounding the Cape of Good Hope. We talk about
preparing for the race, windvanes, sail configurations, wildlife
encounters, the sinking of his boat, the rescue, and his
journey on the cargo ship Darya Gayatri.
